Welcome to Pollença
- With nearly 1.5 km beach, you are sure to have a lovely space to enjoy the beautiful countryside surrounding the town.
- The beach at Port de Pollença is a beautiful long blue flag beach a horseshoe bay which in turn overlooked by the beautiful Tramuntana Mountains. It is one of the best settings in Majorca.
- Windsurfing is very popular here, thanks to its position in the Bay of Pollença with its favourable wind. Water sports and sailing are also popular, and you can rent dinghies, pedal boats and surfboards.
- You can rent chairs and umbrellas, and there are toilets and showers and a high presence of lifeguards. There is free parking in the street behind the beach, and many shops and restaurants along the beach.
- The beach is artificially enhanced with the help of the installation of several breakwaters and imported sand, so the beach at the port end is nice and deep. The further east you go from the harbour, is the smaller but quieter beach.
- But the area is also very popular for all age groups and walkers, cyclists, golfers and mountaineers throughout the year.
- This is a great location to explore the north of the island. You can make boat trips to the nearby beach of Formentor or go to Menorca.
- There are also frequent buses (stops at the beach), to the center of Pollença, where you can visit the old town. In the other direction you can go to the walled town of Alcudia.
